The project began in May 2023 and was finished in May 2024. The works began with the exterior walls, coated with a fresh layer of white K-rend, giving the house a clean, modern look. Repairs were made to the plumbing and drainage systems, electrical systems were updated, and minor fixes were done on the roof.
Old downpipes were replaced, and the windows were also upgraded and replaced with double-glazed black-framed windows, improving both the appearance and energy efficiency of the house.
The staircase bannisters were replaced with stylish glass balustrades, adding a contemporary touch. The external decking was removed and replaced with durable uPVC composite decking. The front garden was given a new breeze block fence, and new tiles were laid outside to create a welcoming entrance.
Inside, the house underwent extensive renovation. It was stripped back to its original brick, and the entire electrical system was rewired. The flat roof was replaced to ensure the house is well-protected from the weather. The floor plan was redesigned to create ten spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Light oak doors with matching frames were installed throughout the house for a unified and elegant look.
The kitchen was fitted with light oak cabinets, slate-effect countertops, and matching splashbacks, along with integrated appliances. The floors were finished with dark walnut flooring and matching skirting boards, creating a warm atmosphere. The bathrooms were tiled with wood-effect feature walls in the showers and bath areas, while heated towel racks, wall-hung vanities with large mirrors add another touch of luxury.
High-quality wallpaper and feature walls were used in the bedrooms, complemented by black ceiling downlights and sleek electrical fittings. Handmade tables and chairs in the living and dining areas enhance the comfort and style of the house.
Entertainment options include a gaming room with table hockey, arcade games, and professional-grade dart boards.
The single rear door was replaced with double-glazed black-framed double doors, providing easy access to the outdoor spaces where you can find a luxury jacuzzi free to all visitors.
This remarkable transformation has turned a neglected building into a luxurious and welcoming holiday home.
